May 25th 2008 saw the first ever tournament at Peace River Campground.  Organized and run by the campers with cash prizes and the proceeds going to a charity it turned out to be a big success.  With 30 teams donating $10 each and vying for a $100 first place prize. The fun began at 11AM and the double elimination rules kept it going until almost 7PM.  In addition to the 60 entrants there were near 100 spectators.

The winner of the second cornhole tournament held on July 5, 2008 were Bill Hamilton Sr. and Shawn Web.  Second place went to Dan Gates and John Wilson. and third place went to Mark McLaughlin and Jason Jerigan.
We are very please to announce the tournament was even bigger than the first with 50 teams competing.  More and more campers got involved and there was a 50-50 raffle and refreshments were served.  The combined proceeds came to and amazing $449.  Pictured is Missy Wilson presenting the proceeds to Gary and Sandy Deleandro of the Jasmine Dream Horse rescue ranch.
